This is the stone that first woke me to the energy of crystals. And it was when I was holding several pieces in my hand, like the ones in this box, and suddenly I started talking up a storm and felt this most comforting and grounded energy. THE energy of Taos. Actually Staurolite dominates the area and its why this stone describes what others describe of the magical time they have in Taos, NM.

In the USA Staurolite can only be found in 3 areas, one being Taos, NM. Here it grows with garnets inside! So on many of your pieces you'll see round holes where garnets once were.
